On May 18th, the Algaia site located in Lannilis in Brittany, France received the visit of Mr Loig Chesnais-Girard, VP for the economy, innovation and attractiveness of the Brittany Region. The Region supported the recent investments made at Lannilis with 500 000 € repayable advances and 142 000 € to fund the development of new sustainable seaweed extraction processes. “Algaia is core in our strategy and represents the future of the Brittany Region. One of our main assets is the quality of our waters and many projects still remain to be developed.” said Chesnais-Girard.

“The increasing need for sustainability worldwide, combined with the strong demand for natural products and the regulatory trend towards cleaner labeling make us believe in this industry” stated Fabrice Bohin, Algaia’s CEO.
