Frédéric Faure participated to a roundtable on algae and ingredients last Tuesday in the frame of the Forum Blue Cluster organized by the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique with the CEVA (Centre d’Etude et de Valorisation des Algues), Blue Train, the Ulvans project and Seaweed for Europe.
The event took place in the Station Biologique de Roscoff world-known for its research capabilities in marine biology and covered the wide topic of the blue biotechnologies at the service of a sustainable food industry from food to packaging.
Over 150 entrepreneurs and scientists gathered to learn about the latest micro- and macro-algae research results and the most recent product developments from the elite of the Breton companies and research bodies.
The day was concluded by Vincent Doumeizel, senior advisor at the United Nations Global Compact, who presented his book ‘The seaweed revolution’.
A great source of inspiration for the future to which Algaia is proud to contribute.
