Algaia has partnered with NaturePlast, a leading Norman biopolymer manufacturer, to transform co-products from algal biomass into creation.
Algaia supplies COPAL, a co-product from our Agris ingredient line. NaturePlast blends this co-product with PLA to produce a new material.
The outcome: designers and creators now have access to innovative, industrially compostable materials for 3D printing and bespoke creation. The lighting fixtures and interior objects in these images are designs born from this collaboration.
