Algaia joins the Respect Ocean association in order to mark and strengthen its commitment to protecting the oceans.
The proximity of the Iroise Sea has always been considered a strength for Algaia, thus benefiting from fresh algae for a quality production and minimized transit time between harvest and processing. But it is also our responsibility as a blue economy company to protect this natural resource.
Therefore, we work in close collaboration with local seaweed farmers, regional communities and government authorities to maintain a responsible harvest of the resource.

Algaia rejoint l’association Respect Ocean afin de marquer et renforcer son engagement pour la protection des océans.
La proximité de la mer d’Iroise a toujours été considérée comme une force pour Algaia qui bénéficie ainsi d’algues fraîches pour une production de qualité et d’un temps de transit minimisé entre la récolte et la transformation. Mais c’est aussi notre responsabilité en tant qu’entreprise de l’économie bleue de protéger cette ressource naturelle.
Ainsi, nous travaillons en étroite collaboration avec les goémoniers locaux, les communautés régionales et les autorités gouvernementales pour maintenir une récolte responsable de la ressource.
