This complements \nthe recent acquisition of Alganact SA, a start-up company specialized in\n seaweed biomass valorization, the opening of a greenfield R&amp;D \ncentre in Saint Lo, France and the recruitment of a team of business and\n technical experts. <\/strong>\n\n  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Located in Lannilis (Brittany \u2013 France), the newly acquired plant is \nstrategically positioned next to a large brown seaweed site collecting \nover 60,000 tons of fresh biomass annually in a sustainable and \nregulated manner.&nbsp; \n\n  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cWe have high ambitions in the field of specialty marine ingredients\n and natural ingredients such as seaweed extracts. Our aim is to \nmaintain and potentially increase employment at Lannilis while deploying\n its activity further more.
